Notes:

  1. Theresia and Emil Mrazek. Mrazek is a Czech name, and the Mrazek family lived in the Budweis area of what today is the Czech Republic, and back then was part of the Austro-Hungarian empire. Emil married a woman from Ebensee in the Salzkammergut, Austria. This is Theresia and Emil's wedding picture.

Emil was employed by the railroad, and had the line from Vienna to Venice. He was the engineer, or Lokfuehrer, as it says on his death card. He once got a commendation from the emperor because of his subtle (soft) starting of the train when the emperor, Franz Josef, was on board.
