Mali's Garlic Soup

This recipe is from Mali; recorded March, 1999.

Brown flour in butter. Add 3 cups water and bring to a boil then add the bouillon cube and the pepper, the bay leaf and the garlic. Let come to a boil again and cook a few minutes. Add the cream - do NOT boil.

Serve with croutons on top!
